Accessing The Willis-James
OUR FACILITIES
Each guest has a key code that allows for 24/7 entry into The Willis-James through the side door, so you may come and go as you wish. While settling in and getting connected, you’ll be able to access our complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi. As a guest, you’ll have 24-hour access to all common areas of The Willis-James, including the library, parlor, family room, dining room, porches, outdoor fire pit, and lawn.
While exempt from the American Disabilities Act (ADA)*, The Willis-James Bed & Breakfast strives to accommodate all guests and their needs. The main guest entrance on the side of the house includes a ramp with handrails on each side. Please note that the only guest room located on the first floor is the Matrons Room. All other rooms are located on the second floor with no elevator access.
We took measures in the Matrons Room to create a bathroom with an open layout. In this room is a shower with no curb to step over, and a toilet. Both the shower and toilet have grab bars, and the shower includes a standard showerhead as well as a handheld spray unit. The vanity is located within the bedroom.
*According to federal law as found on https://www.ada.gov/taman3.htm..., places of lodging with 5 or less units and have the owner living on the property are exempt from having to have an ADA unit for those with disabilities. Historical properties may also be exempt from certain aspects of title III requirements.
