The Pour House at Machinery Hall is our exclusive caterer providing everything from private dinners for 12, holiday and client receptions, to couples’ wine and charcuterie platters. Check out the “Events” page on this site for additional information. Their restaurant on 2nd street is a short walk from TWJ and serves a great menu in a pub-like atmosphere.

The Willis-James and Ivy’s Home and Garden have a long history. This charming store on the corner of Water and Paint Streets is a staple in Historic Downtown Chillicothe and offers a wide array of unique and elegant items for the home and beyond. Many of the details in The Willis-James were inspired by the designers at Ivy’s.

The Willis-James is proud to be working with Róst Coffee to provide our guests with a premium cup of coffee in the morning. Trent Fannin, owner of Róst is incredibly passionate about coffee and his love for the art of roasting beans is prevalent with every sip of his coffee. Róst in The Fort building on 2nd St. are also a great stop for lunch or an afternoon pick-me-up. Make sure to try out his proprietary, chilled Cubano or Pumpkin Spice Latte!

We have always had a sense of confidence when it comes to growing outdoor plants and gardens, but indoor plants are a different matter. The folks at Julie’s Shop on Paint were very patient to help us identify species of plants suitable for the varying light conditions in an old house. They continue to provide advice and sourcing for us so that we can carry on the botanical tradition that the 19th century owners of The Willis-James started.

Their pasture-based farm in Hillsboro and network of local suppliers are committed to providing the best organic food for their customers. A regular participant in the Chillicothe Farmer’s Market, we are delighted to serve Dana and Jesse’s supreme products to guests at The Willis-James.
